Oakvale has a dedicated team of risk management professionals representing diverse disciplines and offering a breadth of quantitative and qualitative expertise. This team is constantly reviewing investment opportunities on behalf of clients. We specialise in tailoring investment profiles according to each client’s investment policy or guidelines. The aim of Investment Banks is to make a profit from the products they recommend. While this is not a problem in itself, these products may not be the most appropriate for a company’s risk profile. Oakvale has no vested interest in product recommendations. Some clients prefer to outsource the management of those investments to us and we apply strict controls around the investment of those funds with direct involvement of the client if required. Many clients prefer to have investments recommended for a final decision. The core of our service in funds management is to provide the market and product expertise whilst filtering investment products according to a clients specific investment risk profile.
In this way, the client can maintain relationships with the banks but is able to make informed decisions. |
